The Certified Builders Guild, as a condition of membership, requires all members to employ the following in all their business practices:


Primary responsibility will be to clients and community.



Will deal fairly and honestly with clients, employees, subcontractors and suppliers.


Will not obtain any business by means of fraudulent statements or by implications unwarranted by fact or reasonable probability.


Will comply with rules and regulations prescribed by law and governmental agencies for health, safety and welfare of the community and will not perform or cause to performed, any act which would tend to reflect negatively on, or discredit, any part of the public or home building industry.


Will keep abreast of new techniques of management and construction through continuing education.


Will stay informed on matters affecting the home building industry in the community, the state, and the nation, in order to contribute responsibily to public thinking on such matters.


Will not deny service to any person for reasons of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, family status, handicap or age.


Will always work to enhance the value of the Certified Builder Guild to the consumer and community.
